This a green (beginner) difficulty level mountain bike riding route that goes through a fun and informative historical ranch from the 1800’s that’s now a museum.

A mesmerizing gentle downhill mountain bike cruise will reveal the beauties of the old and wild side of Santa Cruz. Overlooking amazing coastal views from former Rancho del Refugio, an adobe structure that still standing from the 1800th century.

Enjoy the views of this park and have a great time with your friends and family taking pictures.  Pet and meet the farm animals, or on selected dates of the month go on a horse carriage tour of the farm and travel back in time.

Planning with time ahead will give you the opportunity to double your joy of a relaxing spin with a live reenactment of what once was the 1800’s and see how genius they were then. Jaw dropping!

This is a journey of amazing views through the trees down to the beaches, descending through 17,000 acres of pristine forest to the Pacific Ocean.

The gentle grade roads lead to the gorgeous geology of our coastal cliffs.

Visit the small Victorian farm house. Tour the ranch, take pictures, visit the interpretative center for a self-guided tour of the premises.

Purchase a souvenir have a picnic on many of those benches while you enjoy the scenery.

As you leave the park you can add another point of interest by visiting the Seymore Marine Discovery Center and view the amazing whale skeletons and more.

End your destination by riding back through beautiful West Cliff Drive to the Boardwalk.
